Upgrading Firmware 

 
Upgrades to firmware (printer system software) are available online. For information on how to locate  
the current firmware version on your printer, 

click the “info” icon on Breva display

.  

 
CAUTION! The printer must be plugged in to an AC outlet during a firmware upgrade. Do not interrupt 
printer power during an upgrade. 
 
To upgrade firmware:  

1.

 

On a computer, go to the technical support website @ www.ijet2l.com/support. 

2.

 

Find firmware updates and the most recent BREVA firmware.  

3.

 

Download the firmware.  

4.

 

Save the downloaded file to a USB drive.  

5.

 

Plug the printer in to an outlet using the power cord and adapter.  

6.

 

Connect the USB drive to the USB A port on the printer. The printer recognizes the upgrade file and 
displays a message on the touchscreen.  

7.

 

Follow the instructions on the touchscreen. When the upgrade is complete, the printer restarts.
