4.4.1 SAMPLING RATE SETTINGS
To avoid flooding the CPU, a sampling rate was implemented. This rate determines the frequency
with which the manager sends heartbeats and the slaves send their inform requests.
- For efficiency: The larger the network, the higher the rate must be.
- For stability: The larger the network, the lower the rate must be.
- Once every device on the network has been detected, it is advisable to
reduce.
- F5’ in the switch list (with Easyline Manager) sends a broadcast to reduce ALL devices
all at once.
