7.2.1 Activating and Deactivating the Switching via Mouse
Example 1
With, e.g., mode 2 set in the
Config.txt
, the U-Switch starts with a setting for a vertical display
arrangement and enabled modes for switching via mouse in the horizontal or block display arrangements.
To activate another display arrangement or deactivate the switching via mouse, proceed as follows:
1. Activate the switching via mouse by entering one of the following keyboard sequences:

Horizontal mode:
Hot Key, o, x, 1, Enter
−
Block mode:
Hot Key, o, x, 3, Enter
2. Move the mouse pointer beyond the border of the display to the adjacent horizontal or vertical displays.
Switching to the new displays will occur instantly.
3. To deactivate the switching via mouse, enter the following keyboard sequence:
Hot Key, o, x, 0, Enter
The U-Switch will not react to the keyboard command
Hot Key, o, x, 4, Enter
.
To get in mode 4, you need to change the configuration (
Config.txt
) in the management software.
Example 2
With, e.g., mode 4 set in the
Config.txt
, the U-Switch starts with a setting for a freely display
arrangement and enabled mode for switching via mouse in freely configured displays.
To deactivate or reactivate the switching via mouse in freely configured displays, proceed as follows:
Deactivate the switching via mouse by entering
Hot Key, o, x, 0, Enter
.
Reactivate the switching via mouse in freely configured displays by entering
Hot Key, o, x, 4, Enter
.
Move the mouse pointer beyond the border of the display to the adjacent horizontal or vertical displays.
Switching to the new displays will occur instantly.
Note: The mouse can only be moved to displays that are arranged side-by-side. If there is a gap between
the displays, you have to take the way back over displays that are arranged side-by-side.
