The green light “ ” is on at the same
time as the yellow light “ ”
- Power supply generates inadequate power and
needs to be replaced.
- The coil has short-circuited causing a lowering
in the power voltage; replace the coil.
Coil replacement To replace the coil contact the manufacturer or an
authorized assistance centres. For the connection of
the new coil refer to the instructions in par Errore.

The red fixed light “ ” comes on, a
continuous acoustic signal come out and the
green lights indicating the magnetic
field presence is off.
The device must be delivered to IGEA assistance
centre for maintenance.
The device technical assistance is exclusive pertinency of Manufacturer IGEA S.p.A. In
case of failure, or in any case where repairs is necessary, the user should contact a service centre
authorized by IGEA S.p.A.

5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 Recommendations
Closely follow these instructions to ensure optimal and safe operation of the device:
Make sure you read the instruction manual before using the device
§
BIOSTIM SPT must be used by people who understand and put into effect independently the
instructions provided in this manual: otherwise, and if used on children, BIOSTIM SPT can be used
under the supervision of people able to understand and put into effect the instructions provided in
this manual.
§
Keep the device away from children and pets, if any.
§
Attention, connecting cables could cause strangulation hazard if incorrectly used.
§
Never use the appliance in presence of inflammable gases
§
Ensure that the power voltage corresponds to that indicated on the power supply data plate.
§
Do not connect any part of unit to other equipment or devices.
§
Do not connect to BIOSTIM SPT any part not intended for use and not supplied by the
Manufacturer.
§
Use only the power supply provided by the manufacturer; the use of different devices could cause
damage to the system or in the worst case to the user, for which the manufacturer declines all
responsibility.
§
Always check that the mains connection cable, cables and connectors are not visibly damaged: in
the event of damage contact IGEA or an authorized assistance centre.
§
Never handle any of the components of the BIOSTIM SPT system with wet hands in particular
during the connection to the mains.
§
Never immerse any of the system components in water or liquids of any type and never pour any
liquids on to the same.
§
Do not cover the generator or the power supply, for example with blankets, during the delivery of
therapy to allow their aeration.
§
Using the coil under heavy blankets, you may experience a overheating of the coil surface: in this
case, perform the therapy without covering the coil.
§
It is advisable not to use the system in environments where the temperature is above 30°C, to
avoid overheating of the coil surface; if this is not possible, and the temperature of the coil does
