5. Setting
5.1. Setting of the switching function
Selection is done with
switch (4)
, there are 4 functions:
• Function I:
Preferable for synchronous monitoring, normally open
(relay is energised for synchronous monitoring)
• Function II:
Preferable for slip monitoring, normally closed
(relay is de-energised for slip monitoring)
• Function III:
Slip monitoring, normally open
• Function IV:
Synchronous monitoring, normally closed

5.2. Setting of the sensitivity
Selection is done with
switch (3)
, there are 2 functions:
• Switch position I
→
sensitivity setting 3/4
Slip signal is given when ...
input 1
receives 3 pulses more than input 2 or when
input 2
receives 4 pulses more than input 1.
• Switch position III
→
sensitivity setting 7/8
Slip signal is given when ...
input 1
receives 7 pulses more than input 2 or when
input 2
receives 8 pulses more than input 1.
5.3. Setting of the cycle time
Set the cycle time with
pot. (2)
.
Slip signal is given when the set pulse difference is reached within the set cycle
time (calculation of the cycle time see 5.4)
