3.7 IO extension Installation (Optional)
DRPC-242-ADL-P series products has reserved GPIO port, serial port, iDPM slot for
function expansions. Optional cable or module are ready for purchase. To install these
expansion components, follow the steps below.
3.7.1 Serial Port Installation
Step 1:
Locate the Serial port connector. See Section
Step 2:
Connect the serial cable to the serial connector on the mainboard. ( Figure 3-11 )

Knock out the reserved holes on the chassis and Secure the DB9 end of the serial
cable to the panel
