Reference side of the guide system
The guide rail is aligned on the reference side of the basic unit (marked by the 90° groove).
The reference side of the carriage plate, marked by two unilateral alignment pins, is on the
same side as the reference side of the basic unit (see
Figure 26: Reference side
The adapter plate is applied to the two guide carriages on the reference side. In the new
condition, the guide carriages are harder to push. After a brief run-in time (1-2 days), the
pushing resistance reduces to its regular amount.
NOTE
Do not swap the carriage plate and adapter plate!
