4. Installing the electrics
4.1. Power supply
Electrical connection must be registered with the
relevant power supply company.
The required series-connected fuse for the primary
circuit can be looked up on the circuit diagramm.
It is essential that a "slow-blow' fuse is used (charac-
teristic "C" ). The relevant cable cross section must be
determined by the electrician.
A thermal relay is pre-installed to protect the com-
pressor. In addition, all systems are equipped with a
start-up current limiter.
The installation of an appropriate motor protection
switch into the supply line to the brine or groundwater
pump is recommended, especially with large heat
pump systems.
The heat pump is operated via the Navigator control.
Depending on system design, the relevant sensors
are required; see the connection plans on following
pages for more information.
For reliable operation of the heat pump, the voltage in
the mains network must be within specific tolerance
limits (check with the relevant power supply company
if necessary).
