1.12. Description
TERRA AL Twin is a compact air-water-heat pump
with 2 pieces suction gas cooled scroll capsule com-
pressor with largely dimensioned multi-row Al/Cu
fi
nned tube evaporator.
By a special speed-controlled axial fan large volume
fl
ows can be achieved at low speeds.
A copper-welded stainless steel plate heat exchang-
er is used as condenser. The delivery included
fl
ow
switch prevents a freeze up of the condenser in cool-
ing mode, if there is too less
fl
ow volume. The ma-
chine frame consists of a strong metal pro
fi
le. The
cover panels are insulated perfectly. The housing
is thus without a thermal bridge and thus optimum
sound insulated.
The heating controller (Navigator 1.7) developed es-
pecially for this system offers a variety of additional
applications, e.g. Smart Grid, Remote Control or op-
eration via a smart phone. The Navigator 1.7 is lo-
cated in the electrical cabinet and has to be installed
interior.
The heat pump itself is designed in compact con-
struction. The evaporator and the compressors are
mounted side by side. The heat pump is
fi
lled with
refrigerant and is tested in the plant to ensure its per-
fect function.
1.13. Application range
For monovalent heating and cooling of detached,
semi-detached houses and commercial buildings
in appropriate climatic environments. The building
should be furnished with a low-temperature heating
(e.g. under
fl
oor heating, wall heating, low-tempera-
ture radiator heating ...).
TERRA AL Twin heat pumps function with the safety
refrigerant R410A which, if in the event of a proper as-
sembly and installation circulates in a closed circuit,
represents practically no environmental impact.
