Remote I/O Slave Operation and Restrictions

The remote I/O slave outputs conform to the remote I/O master outputs. Therefore, the following restrictions are applied when 
the SmartAXIS operates as a remote I/O slave.

Special internal relays

All Outputs OFF (M8002)

Cannot be used.

Maintain Outputs While CPU Stopped 
(M8025)

Cannot be used.

Communication settings

Serial communication port

The communication mode is always "Maintenance Communication". The 
communication settings are fixed as the following settings.
Baud rate: 115,200 bps
Data length: 7 bits
Parity: Even
Stop bits: 1 bit

Ethernet Communication

Cannot be used except for remote I/O communication.

Maintenance

Access to devices

Output relay (Q) on/off state cannot be changed.
