Onboard Inputs
There is one onboard input on the intercom. This enables you to monitor the state of devices such as magnetic
door contacts, motion detectors or REX buttons.
The onboard input can also be configured as a Protege input to enable Protege inputs to be triggered through
the intercom. Refer to
Configuring the Onboard Input
for configuration details (see page 44).
Onboard Outputs
There is one onboard Form C relay output. This is a standalone output that can be used to control devices such
as door locks or lights directly from the intercom, independent of Protege system configuration (see page 42)
The relay output can switch to a maximum capacity of 24V DC 1A. Exceeding this will damage the output.
