OPERATION
FEED LOAD & CHAIN SPEED
Excessive feed load can lead to premature guidebar wear and undesirable diamond segment wear
patterns, which may reduce straightness of cut.
• Apply moderate pressure to the manual controls and maintain steady chain speed to achieve
optimum cutting performance.
• Do not attempt to operate both rotation and traverse controls at the same time, as this
increases the likelihood of overloading.
• Reduce pressure applied to the manual controls if "screeching" sound is generated, as this is
a sign of overloading.
• Use lighter feed load with a new chain until the diamonds are exposed.
