2.3  Unpacking Precautions

Some of the components on the NOVA-7895 are very sensitive to
static electric charges and can be damaged by a sudden rush of
power. To protect them from accidental damage, please be sure to
follow these precautions:

Ground yourself to remove any static charge before touching your
NOVA-7895. You can do it by using a grounded wrist strap at all
times or by frequently touching any conducting materials that are
connected to the ground.

Handle your NOVA-7895 at the edges. Don’t touch IC chips, leads
or circuitry if not necessary.

Do not plug in any connector or jumper while the power is on.

Do not put your NOVA-7895 unprotected on a flat surface as it has
sensitive components on both sides.

2.4   Clear CMOS Setup

If you forget the CMOS password, you can clear or reset it by
closing the

JP6

. After JP6 (1-2) is closed, turn on the power for

about 3 seconds then turn it off and re-open the JP6 (1-2). Now,
the password has been cleared from your CMOS.
