Description:
Reads the status of the digital input/output channels.
Syntax:
$AA6[CHKSUM](CR)
$ Delimiter character
AA Address of the module to be read (00 to FF)
6 Command to read the digital input/output channels
Response:
Valid command:
!(Data)[CHKSUM](CR)
Invalid command:
?AA[CHKSUM](CR)
! Delimiter character for a valid command
? Delimiter character for an invalid command
AA Address of the responding module (00 to FF)
(Data) Status of the digital input/output channels, a four-
digit hexadecimal value followed by 00. See
Section 1.9 for details.
There will be no response if the command syntax is incorrect,
there is a communication error, or there is no module with the
specified address.
