2.1. Mounting the Hardware
Before installing the hardware, you should have a basic understanding of hardware
specification, such as the dimensions, the usable input-voltage range of the power
supply, and the type of communication interfaces.

Step 1: Mounting the ET-87P2/4/8
The ET-87P2/4/8 can be mounted with the bottom of the chassis on the standard 35 mm
DIN rail, or it can be surface mounted. Make sure the following installation requirements
are met.
Temperature Considerations.
Operating Temperature: -
10˚C ~ +75˚C
Storage Temperature: -
30˚C ~ +75˚C
Humidity: 5 ~ 95%, Non-condensing
