The followng functons can be assgned to 

[U.]

[DOWN]

[.0]

[.1.]

[.2]

 and 

[.3]

 programmable functon keys.

Consult your Icom dealer or system operator for detals con-
cernng your transcevers programmng.
If the programmable functon names are bracketed n the fol-
lowng explanatons, the specfic key s used to actvate the 
functon depends on the programmng.

CH UP AND DOWN KEYS

 Push to select an operatng channel.

➥ 

 Push to select a transmt code channel after pushng [TX 
Code CH Select].

➥ 

 Push to select a DTMF channel after pushng [DTMF Au-
todal].

➥ 

 Push to select a scan group after pushng and holdng 
[Scan A Start/Stop]/[Scan B Start/Stop] for 1 sec.

ZONE KEY

Push ths key, then select the desred zone usng [CH Up]/ 
[CH Down].

  

What is “zone”?

— Selected channels are assgned to a 

zone accordng to how they are to be used n a group. 
For example, ‘Staff A’ and ‘Staff B’ are assgned nto a 
“Busness” zone, and ‘John’ and ‘Cndy’ are assgned nto 
a “Prvate” zone.

SCAN A START/STOP KEY

 Push to start and cancel scannng operaton.

  •  When Power ON Scan functon s actvated, push to pause the 

scannng operaton. And the paused scan resumes after the 
specfied tme perod has passed.

 Push and hold ths key for 1 sec. to ndcate the scan lst, 
then push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred lst.

SCAN B START/STOP KEY

 Push to start and cancel scannng operaton.

   The  scan  restarts  after  the  specfed  tme  perod  has 

passed when the scan (started wth ths key) s cancelled 
by except for ths key operaton.

  Push and hold ths key for 1 sec. to ndcate the scan lst, 

then push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred lst.

SCAN ADD/DEL (TAG) KEY

➥ 

 Push to add/delete the selected channel to/from the scan 
lst.

  1.  Push  to  ndcate  the  scan  group,  then  push  [CH  Up]  or 

[CH Down] to select the desred lst.

  2.  Push to add or delete the channel to/from the selected scan lst.
  3.  Push and hold for 1 sec. to ext the scan lst selecton mode.

➥ 

 Push ths key whle scan s paused (a sgnal s detected) 
on a channel (except for prorty channel), the channel s 
cleared from the scan lst.

 

  Dependng on the settng, the cleared channel s added 

to the scan lst agan after the scan s cancelled.
