transcever.
NOTE:
The mcrophone s located at the top of the
speaker-mcrophone, as shown n the dagram above. To
maxmze the readablty of your transmtted sgnal (voce),
hold the mcrophone approx. 5 to 10 cm from your mouth,
and speak n a normal voce level.

To attach
Attach the connector of the speaker-mcrophone nto the
mult connector on the transcever and tghten the screw.
CAUTION: Attach the
multi connector snugly, but
do not overtighten.
A loose connection will al-
low water intrusion into the
connector; an overtight-
ened connector will dam-
age the connector pins in
the transceiver.
IMPORTANT:
KEEP
the connector cover attached to the
transcever when the speaker-mcrophone s not n use.

Water wll not get nto the transcever even f the cover s
not attached, however, the termnals (pns) wll become
rusty, or the transcever wll functon abnormally f the
connector becomes wet.
