The VS-1SC s a VOX/PTT unt for Icom handheld transcev-
ers, and allows you hands-free operaton.
An optonal headset (HS-94, etc.) s requred for operaton.
• The VOX (Voce Operated Transmsson) functon starts trans-
msson wthout pushng PTT swtch when you speak nto the
mcrophone; then, automatcally returns to receve when you stop
speakng.

Attach the connector of the VS-1SC nto the mult-con-
nector on the transcever and tghten the screw.
• Toggle the VOX/PTT select swtch to [VOX].

Enter user set mode. (p. 16)

Push [P0] several tmes to select the “VOX Gan” or “VOX
Delay” tems. Then, push [Sde2] or [Sde3] to set the de-
sred level/condton.

Rotate [VOL] to turn the power OFF to ext user set mode.
• VOX Gain
The VOX senstvty level can be adjusted from OFF or 1 to 6
(more senstve).
