12. Maintenance
Drain plate
Fixed screw
Fallen ice and user debris fall directly into the drain
plate underneath.. Occasionally you will need to
clean the drain plate to remove debris and prevent
backflow of water.
CAUTION: If the drain plate is not cleaned, it may
overflow and leak out of the product.
To clean the drain plate:
1) Remove the front panel.
2) Turn off the power.
3) Remove the 2 screws securing the top lid to the
dispenser. Lift the top panel off the dispenser.
4) Pull the side of the front panel forward.
Release the 3 visible wire connection jacks and
hooks.
5) Lift the front panel off the base.
6) Loosen the two drain fixing screws, disconnect
the drain hose connected to the drain pan, and
then remove the drain plate.
7) Clean the drain plate.
8) After cleaning, assemble the drain plate to its
original position
9) Reattach the drain hose and reinsert the hose
fixing clip.
