Operation
Economy Mode
The Economy mode provides a transmission shift schedule for
improved fuel economy. To activate this mode, switch the ECON
/ ON switch, on the right switch panel, to the ON position. When
in the ON position the switch indicator will be turned on.
Automatic Transmission Operating Temperatures
Your vehicle may be equipped with a warning indicator or gauge
that will indicate high transmission fluid temperatures.
The sump / fluid reservoir temperatures of the Allison
Transmissions should not exceed 250°F (120°C)
