MX-AMP 5x50E
6.5 Priority MIC1
The unbalanced MIC1 (and MIC2) inputs are equipped with standard 1/4 inch jack connectors for
connecting low impedance (50 to 600 Ohms) balanced or unbalanced microphones. Phantom
powering is not available because of the unbalanced input circuit.
7. Operation
7.1 Input selector rotary switch
After all connections are completed, turn the input source selection switch of each channel to set
on the corresponding position for the required signal source.
7.2 Level, Bass, Treble
For each channel these controls allow for setting the sound impression and volume (level).
7.3 Priority MIC1 ON/OFF push button
Set the push switch of each channel to control the mute function of its own channel signal source.
Switch down is to mute the signal source, so only the voice from MIC1 can be heard during a call,
while switch up does not mute the signal source. In the up position both voice from MIC1 and
channel signal can be heard. If it is necessary to adjust the volume further, turn the level control of
MIC1 and/or channel 1 - 5.
7.4 Power switch, LED indicator
With the power switch you turn on the amplifier. A LED indicates, that the MX-AMP 5x50E is ready
for use. If both AC and DC 24 V backup power are available, the amplifier runs on the mains
power. If mains power fails and backup power is present, the amplifier keeps on running without
any interruption. The mains power switch does not break the backup power supply.
