If the following circumstances will occur, please immediately switch off the power and
disconnect the power supply plug from the AC-outlet. Do not try to operate the amplifier
again. Contact your local dealer to check the amplifier:

damages are visible

the device has fallen
n
the device contains loose parts or any liquid gets into the amplifier
n
the device shows malfunctions
n
smoke or strange smell is coming out of the device
n
the power supply cord is damaged, such as exposure of the core, disconnection etc.
n
the device has been stored for a longer period under bad conditions such as open air or in damp
rooms
n
the device has been exposed to hard transport conditions like badly packing

MX-AMP 5x50E
5. General information
The MX-AMP 5x50E is a 5 channel mixer amplifier designed for multi-zone applications. It can be
used as a 2 units 19 inch rack (brackets included) or desktop model.
Its 5 outputs have 50 watts RMS power at 8 ohms, 70 and 100 V each and can be connected via
screw terminals. Each channel has its own bass, treble and level controls. 6 inputs can be
switched to the 5 channels: AUX 1 to 4 and 2 High Level inputs. AUX 1 has a switch for MIC-
sensivity. The High Level inputs are intended to be connected to the output of other 70 / 100 V
amplifiers.
The front side MIC 1 input with volume control has a level dependent priority function (vox) and
acts on all channels simultaneously. Each channel is equipped with a push button to select to mute
its own signal or not during a call from MIC1.
To ensure safe operation, several protection circuits are included: speaker short-cut, overload and
overtemperature.
Besides 230 / 115 V 50-60 Hz AC mains power, the MX-AMP 5x50E accepts also 24 V DC as
backup power.
