You can attach a dedicated modem to the D-shell system-management connector
on the rear of your appliance to communicate with the integrated Netfinity Advanced
System Management Processor.
If you install the Advanced System Management Interconnect cable option, it
provides two additional ports, which are used for the RS-485 function. These two
ports use a dual RJ-45 connector. The RS-485 function enables you to connect the
Advanced System Management Processors of several rack-mounted appliances so
that they can communicate with each other in half-duplex mode.

To remove the external LED card, go through the following steps:
1. Power OFF the appliance.
2. Disconnect all external cables.
3. Remove the cover. See “Removing the cover (Model 200)” on page 51.
4. Remove the blower fan assembly. See “Replacing the fan assembly” on
