Chapter 4.
Frames
This chapter describe the different models of frames used in SP system and in
CES.
The frames are used to hold nodes and switches in the SP system and to provide
nodes interconnectivity in Clustered Enterprise Servers (CES) configuration.
There are two frames sizes; each size is designed to fit different system
configurations:

Tall frames
– Tall model frames (Model 550, 555)
– Tall expansion frames (F/C 1550)
– SP Switch frames (F/C 2031, 2032)

– Short model frames (Model 500)
– Short expansion frames (F/C 1500)
