Expansion slots. There are three expansion slots on the system board
for the installation of adapter cards that conform to Peripheral Component
Interconnect (PCI) specifications. These cards are commonly referred to
as PCI adapter cards.
System board. This drive bay can accommodate a 5.25-inch device,
such as a 5.25-inch diskette drive, CD-ROM drive, or DVD-ROM drive.
You can also install a 3.5-inch to 5.25-inch installation kit.
Bay 3. This drive bay can accommodate a 3.5-inch slim IDE hard disk. In
many models, this bay holds a factory-installed hard disk drive.
Switching power supply. The system comes with a switching power
supply
Bay 2. This drive bay can accommodate a 5.25-inch device, such as a
5.25-inch diskette drive, CD-ROM drive, or DVD-ROM drive. You can also
install a 3.5-inch to 5.25-inch installation kit.
Bay 1. This drive bay can accommodate a 5.25-inch half-high drive such
as a diskette, hard disk, tape, or CD-ROM. In many models, this bay holds
a factory-installed CD-ROM drive.
