Diskette drive

Before you begin:

Read “Safety information” on page 117.

Review the information in “System reliability considerations” on page 33.

To remove the diskette drive, complete the following steps:

1. Turn off the server, if it is on.

2. Unplug the server.

3. Remove the side cover. See “Removing the side cover” on page 40.

4. Disconnect the cables.

5. Remove the screws from the diskette drive cage.

6. Gently slide the floppy disk drive toward the front of the server and lift it out.
