7. Position the fan guard and the replacement fan, and reinstall the four
screws that retain them.

8. Route the fan cable and replug the connector.

9. Reinstall the rear cover.
Step 10. Reconnect the ac power if it was disconnected.
Replacing a Fuse in an 8270-800
The following procedure describes how to replace a fuse.
Step
1. Ensure that ac power to the 8270-800 is disconnected.
Step
2. Remove the screw in the bottom right corner of the rear cover.
Step
3. Loosen but do not remove the remaining 7 screws that retain the rear
cover.
Step
4. Slide the rear cover to the right and remove it from the chassis.
Step
5. The fuse panel is located on the right side (as viewed from the rear) of
the chassis (see Figure 6-1). There are seven fuses labeled 1 through 4
and 6 through 8. There is no fuse 5. Replace the defective fuse or
fuses.
Step
6. Reinstall the rear cover.
Step
7. Reconnect the ac power.
