2.1.7 Step 7. Connecting the SCSI Bus Cable
To connect the SCSI bus cable, do the following:
__ 1. If installed, remove the connector covers.
__ 2. On the rear of the 7208 Tape Drive ( 1 in Figure 4), attach the device connector end of the SCSI bus cable 2 to one of the SCSI
connectors 3 .
__ 3. Push in until the cable is seated.
__ 4. Tighten the two thumbscrews 4 finger tight.

__ 5. Connect the other end of the SCSI bus cable to one of the SCSI controllers on the AS/400 ( 4 in Figure 5 in topic 2.1.8).
Note:
Make a note of the number of the AS/400 SCSI controller to which you attach the SCSI bus cable; this information will be used
later in "Step 10. Performing the Checkout Procedure." On the rear of the AS/400, the SCSI controllers are numbered 1 to 4,
from left to right.
