Before installing the 7208 Tape Drive, let it acclimate to the operating environment for as long as it has been away from the environment or
for 24 hours, whichever is less.
Attention:
The 7208 Tape Drive is a precision device that requires reasonable care in handling to prevent data loss or permanent
damage to the device. Avoid bumping or dropping the 7208 Tape Drive.
To unpack the 7208 Tape Drive, simply remove the packing material from the box it was shipped in.
