4. Use the plastic tabs to pull both battery modules partially out of the bay.

Important:

Each internal battery module weighs 24 kg (53 lb) and requires two

people to lift it.

5. With two people, pull each battery module fully out of the bay and recycle or

discard them as instructed by local regulations.

6. With two people, carefully slide one new battery module into the UPS. Repeat

this step for the second battery module.
