1. Remove the ESM.
a. Disconnect the SAS cable or cables from the ESM and mark their locations.
b.
On the left side of the ESM, press the orange release tab
(A)
to the right as you rotate the handle
(B) upward.
c. Using the handle, gently slide the ESM out of the enclosure, supporting the sides while you do
this.
2. Install the ESM.
a.
Hold the replacement ESM so that the handle (A) is fully extended.
b. Gently slide the ESM into the bay until the ESM stops.
