cord

both
the
host
and
the
electrical
outlet.

Drivers

Connect
the
Enclosure’s
External
SCSI
Interface
to
the
Server

1.
Connect
an
external
SCSI
bus
cable
to
both
the
enclosure
and
the
server
(for
the
location
of
the
connectors,
refer
to
the
documentation
for
your
enclosure
and
server).

2.
Run
the
appropriate
SCSI
attachment
verification
procedure
from
your
server
(for
instructions,
refer
to
the
IBM
Ultrium
Device
Drivers
Installation
and
User’s
Guide
).
If
you
want
to
power
a
device
on
or
off
while
it
is
connected
to
the
same
SCSI
bus
as
the
drive,
you
can
do
so
if,
during
the
power-on
cycle,
you
quiesce
all
devices
(including
the
drive)
on
the
bus.
