TIP: USING CUSTOMIZED INTERVAL WORKOUTS WITH YOUR BIKE COACH
USING ISAAC YOUR BIKE COACH CAN CREATE AND EMAIL TO YOU INTERVAL TRAINING
WORKOUTS. LOAD THE CUSTOMIZED USER WORKOUTS INTO YOUR NEWTON USING
ISAAC.
AFTER YOU’VE DOWNLOADED YOUR WORKOUT DATA INTO ISAAC, YOU CAN SEND YOUR
COACH YOUR RIDE FILE.
MAKE SURE TO TELL YOUR COACH THAT THE ISAAC SOFTWARE IS FREE AND AVAILABLE
ON OUR WEBSITE HTTPS://WWW.IBIKESPORTS.COM/INDEX.PHP/DOWNLOADS/. ISAAC
CAN BE USED BOTH TO VIEW YOUR RIDE FILES AND TO CREATE CUSTOMIZED INTERVAL
WORKOUTS.
NON-PROGRAMMED “TT” WORKOUTS
Suppose you don’t want to do a pre-programmed workout in your Newton, but you’d like to
do some interval training anyhow
.
The Newton gives you a simple way to ride so you can
see average watts, actual watts, and elapsed time, all on the same screen. And, when you
want to start a new interval, you can do so simply by clicking the center button!
Here’s how to use it:
1) Press-hold the right arrow to enter FIT TRAIN.
Use the left/right arrow to select “tt”:
2. Click the center button to enter the tt Interval.

To start the first TT Interval, click the center button
or just start pedaling

when
you start moving the tt Interval will start automatically.
3. You’ll see average watts in the top window, actual watts in the middle screen, and
elapsed time in the bottom window.
