Troubleshooting
vessel/ burner or unserviceable ignition lead or
spark module.
Ensure the pressure vessel is grounded.
Check the igniter probe/flame sensor is
electrically isolated from the vessel, and
its ceramic insulator is intact.
Replace ignition lead
Replace spark module
Vent Pressure Check the flame signal. If the flame signal is
strong then the error may be caused by the
Pressure Switch opening.
Temp. Probe Error
Other message that may display
simultaneously: Water High Limit or Vent High
Limit.
Check the temperature probe and connection.
Check the wiring connection of the SIM module
connector.
Low Water Cutoff
See Resetting a boiler after a LWCO lockout on
page 85 .
If the error persists, perform a manual reset:
> Clear Errors > Yes .
Roll Out Switch
Vent High Limit
The heat exchanger lid gasket may be damaged
or the nuts may not be tightened properly.
1. Check the connections to the Upper
Vessel High Limit switch (Roll Out
switch) at the back of the heat
exchanger.
2. If the switch has been tripped, reset it.
