Airplane mode
Turning on Airplane mode will turn off Wi-Fi and disable mobile networks and Bluetooth on your
device.
To turn on Airplane mode:
Touch the switch next to "Airplane mode" to turn it to the on position.
Note:
You can connect to Wi-Fi while in Airplane mode: In the Settings menu
, under
"Wireless & networks," turn on Wi-Fi.
Default SMS app
you can choose the SMS app that your device uses.
To change SMS app:
Touch
Default SMS app
and select the app you‘d like to use.
Tethering & portable hotspot
You can share your device‘s mobile data with other computers or devices via USB, Wi-Fi, or
Bluetooth.
Note:
Your carrier may charge you extra for hotspot and tethering connections. If you
have issues, check with your carrier to see whether your device can have tethering
enabled.
Wi-Fi hotspot
If your Slide has mobile data, you can turn it into a portable Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 8 other
devices, like laptop computers.
