Installation
The equipment must be used exclusively for preservation of ice creams or frozen food. Place
the equipment on a perfectly even surface. Remove the adhesive tapes and the door spacers
used for transportation.
The equipment must be placed in a dry, well ventilated position. The appliance must be
left to stand for at least two hours before being started to allow the lubrificating oil to settle in the
compressor. Keep a distance from the wall of 50 cm at least.
Any shelves placed above the machine must have a distance of at least 900 mm.
In the event of damage to the equipment during transport, immediately inform the supplier before
proceeding to electrical connection.
Access to the machine’s connecting plug must be guaranteed in order to disconnect it, should it be
necessary. Should access not be guaranteed, connect the machine to the electric system by using a bi-
polar switch with a contact opening distance of at least 3 mm., placed in an accessible area.
Cabinet must be installed far away from any heat source (radiators, stoves, etc) including sun rays.
Earthing is necessary and compulsory by law. The manufacturer disclaims all
responsability for any damage to people, animal or things due to incorrect observance
of this rule. If the plug and the socket are not of the same type, have the socket replaced
by a technical assistance centre close to you.
Environmental information
At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a
dealer providing this service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for
the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent
materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. As a remin

der of the need to dispose of household appliances separately, the product is marked with a
crossed-out wheeled dustbin.
To guarantee the same respect when it’s disposed of, never abandon the equipment outside.
Don’t throw the packaging material from your equipment in the rubbish but sort the various
materials: eg.polystyrene, cardboard, plastic bags. The demolition of the cabinet and the
recovery of the component materials must be carried out according to the local regulations in force
in this matter.
Maintenance and cleaning
To clean the tank proceed as follows:
Unplug the unit.
Wash and dry the tank using a soft cloth and neutral soap. Under no circumstances should alcohol,
methylated spirits or solvents be used. Subsequentely, plug in again and wait till the appliance reaches
the right temperature before filling it again.
Do not use jet of water or steam to clean the cabinet: electrical wiring could be damaged.
Never use mechanical devices or any other means to accelerate the defrosting process,
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
When the unit is not used for a long time, please take note of the following procedures: unplug the
unit; clean and dry the tank well; leave the glass covers open to avoid possible formation of bad
odours.
