6.1 STARTING UP AND OPERATING OPERATIONS
1. Position the machine on a flat base.
2. Connect the machine up to an electric mains output using clamps R - S - T + T placed inside
the base of the switchboard.
3. Connect the exit port of the shredded material to the aspirator (if present)
4. Make sure the
“
EMERGENCY STOP
”
push-button on the switchboard is disconnected.
5. Power the switchboard using the main switch.
START SHREDDING WITH MINIDISP01-VI BOARD OPERATOR PANEL
1. Power using main switch
2. Check to make sure that the string
“
WAITING FOR START
”
appears on the display of the
external control board.
3. Check the machine work programme (STANDARD NR. 1)
4. press push-button 6 (START) to start the shredder and feed the material to be shredded
into the hopper;
5. at the end of the work press push-button 7 (Off) and wait until the cycle finishes.
6. In case of emergency press the EMERGENCY STOP push-button..
NOTE: load a different programme, select a number from 1

9 and confirm by pressing the Enter
key.
START SHREDDING USING START/STOP PUSH-BUTTONS
1. Power using the main switch
2. press push-button 6 (START) to start the shredder and feed the material to be shredded
into the hopper;
3. at the end of the work press push-button 7 (Off) and wait until the cycle finishes.
4. In case of emergency press the EMERGENCY STOP push-button.
NOTE: load a different programme, select a number from 1

9 and confirm by pressing the Enter
key.
DETAILS REGARDING FUNCTIONING
1. The machine is equipped with a torque limiter which stops and inverts the rotation direction of
the cutters should the work effort exceed the established limit.
2. Check to make sure all the guards have been inserted correctly and are functioning.
