Options and Settings
Wth Pocket MSN
®
Optons you can manage your password settngs. For
nstructons, select one of the tasks below.
Clear the MSN
®
password last saved on your device
When you clear the password that was last saved on the devce, you can re-enter
your credentals usng a new password. You need to do ths f you change the
password on your MSN
®
account.
On the Today screen, tap Start > Programs > Pocket MSN.
Tap Options > General.
Tap Clear Saved Password and tap OK.
Setup an account
Before you can use MSN
®
Messenger, you must set up an nstant messagng
account. For MSN
®
Messenger servce, you must have Mcrosoft
®
Passport
Network credentals or a Hotmal account. To use MSN
®
Messenger servce,
you need to create a connecton to the Internet.
In MSN Messenger, tap Menu > Options > Messenger tab.
Tap Enable MSN Messenger Service. Your sign-in user name and password are
established the first time you sign in to Pocket MSN
®
.
If necessary, select which account to sign in to first, under Sign in using this account first.
To obtan a Passport, go to http://www.passport.com.
To create a Hotmal account, go to http://www.hotmal.com.
Add and delete Contacts
After you have sgned nto Messenger, you wll be able to perform the
functons below.
To add a contact, tap Menu > Add Contact, and then follow the directions on the screen.
To delete a contact, select the contact, tap Menu > Delete contact. Tap Yes to permanently
delete the contact.
