1. If the transmission is in neutral, you can
start the engine regardless of the clutch
lever and side stand.
2. If the transmission is not in neutral, you
can only start the engine with pulling in
the clutch lever and the side stand up.

Make sure that the side stand ignition
interlock system is working properly
before riding.
WARNING
The rear seat lock is located the frame
cover under the front side of the rear seat.
To remove the rear seat, insert the
ignition key into the rear seat lock and turn
it clockwise.
To reinstall the rear seat, slide the seat
hook into the seat hook retainer and push
down firmly until the seat snaps into the
locked position.
To remove the front seat, remove the two
front seat mounting bolts located the rear
side of the front seat.
To reinstall the front seat, slide the seat
hook into the seat hook retainer and install
the two front seat mounting bolts.
