Start the engine.
Outside the water however, never start the engine for longer than 10 sec.
Unscrew the oil dipstick (ill. 1) from the oil tank and wipe with a clean, non-
fuzzing cloth.
Re-insert oil dipstick in the oil tank without screwing it in. Then, pull out again and
check oil level.
The oil level should be between the MIN and MAX mark (ill. 2).
The oil level will rise as the engine warms up. It should never exceed the overfill
mark (ill. 2).
If the oil exceeds the MAX mark while the engine is at operating temperature, the oil
must be drained out.
Engine oil:
Use fully synthetic 4 stroke Hydrospace engine oil
(10W 60, API SJ-CF, ACEA A3/B3).
