Commissioning
NOTICE
Before initial start-up, the screwed fittings and
connections must be inspected for leaks.
Danger from leakage.
Correct terminal connections must be
ensured.
The closing elements must be removed.
The
operating data is permanently marked on the
SAF’s name plate.
The marking must be kept in a legible
condition.
5.1 Permitted operating
temperatures
The permitted operating temperature must
be appropriate for the type of hydraulic
accumulator connected.
For standard temperature ranges of the SAF,
see section 5.6.
5.2 Permitted operating pressure
The permitted operating pressure is indicated
on the name plate of the SAF.
5.3 Operating fluids
SAFs may only be operated with the following
operating fluid:
–
Mineral oil according to DIN 51524,
Parts 1 and 2
Other media must be coordinated with HYDAC.
5.4 Mounting position
SAF can be installed in any position.
5.5 Mounting
The SAF must be installed securely to
withstand vibrations during operation or any
break in the connection lines.
Also, the supports must not exert stress in any
form on the SAF.

Disposal
DANGER
Before carrying out any work on extension
parts, the relevant safety precautions must
be taken.
Disassemble the SAF into its constituent parts
and dispose of them according to material type.
7.
Customer service
Service, repeat testing and repairs can be
carried out at the HYDAC head office or at all
national and international HYDAC sales and
service centres.
