Proper/Designated Use
Use the unit only for the application described in the following.
The MultiRheo Filter (MRF) is a stationary filtration unit used for the full-flow and
bypass filtration of low-viscosity fluids.
The filter is intended hold Flex Micron filter elements. In connection with these
filter elements, deposition rates of 100 µm to 1 µm (absolute) are possible.
Proper or designated use of the product extends to the following:

Observing all instructions contained in these operating instructions.
•
Adhering to maintenance work.
MRF 1 E / MRF 1 K Restrictions pertaining to use
The following restriction applies only to the filter housing with the marking
MRF1 E / MRF1 K.
NOTICE
Impermissible operating media.
The filter housing will be damaged.

The filter may only be used in connection with mineral oils or coolants.
MRF1 N Restrictions pertaining to use
The following restriction applies only to the filter housing with the marking
MRF1 N.
NOTICE
Impermissible operating media.
The filter housing will be damaged.
►
The filter can be used only in combination with mineral oils or mineral-
oil-based raffinates.
