9. For easy installation of the filter element,
wet the O-ring on the filter element with
the operating medium.
10. Carefully press the new filter element into
the element mount by applying slight
pressure, pressing it upwards and
screwing it in .
Do not use excessive force or a
hammer, etc.
11. Lightly moisten the thread on the filter
bowl with fluid (1).
Put the filter bowl (2) from below over the
filter element and turn the filter bowl
counterclockwise by hand into the filter
head.
Tighten the filter bowl using a 27 mm
open-jaw wrench.
12. Open the shut-off valves on the inlet and
outlet side slowly in order to prevent
pressure surges onto the filter.
13. Check the filter for possible leaks.
14. The filter housing is ready for operation.
