Mounting the filter housing 

During installation, make sure that the direction of flow through the filter is 

correct. This is indicated by an arrow on the filter head.

The filter housing is designed for horizontal or vertical installation in a pipeline 

or hose line with a threaded connector of G1“ (cylindrical pipe thread in 

accordance with DIN ISO 228; part 1). 

 

Before installation, coat the connector threads with a lubricant 

containing a slip additive (MoS2). This prevents damage to the 

connector threads during installation. 

 
In order to change the filter elements, sufficient clearance is to be provided 

underneath the filter bowl in the immediate vicinity of the filter at the inlet and 

outlet shut-off valves.
