3.2. Packaging
Do not remove the packing until you are ready to install the unit.
Keep the packing of the device for eventual reuse in case of transport (changing application
areas) or re-storage, it provides the best protection for the device.
3.3. Storage
Information on the permitted environmental conditions at the storage place can be found in
chapter 13.4 Ambient conditions .
4.
Disposal
If the measurement system has to be disposed after its service life has expired, the corres-
ponding national regulations have to be adhered to. The life cycle applicable if using the
device under conditions with increased requirements on functional safety is indicated in the
related safety manual.
5.
Scope of delivery and delivered condition
The device is supplied together with its electric accessories in accordance with the order.

The device will be supplied with the default settings for CANopen. Details can be taken from
chapter 12.2.2 Default settings .
6.
Product monitoring and marking
6.1. General
The HIT 1000 and HIT 1500 measurement system series are subjected to individual calib-
ration and final testing on a computer operated test station. At the end test, the adherence
to the specified technical data defined in the data sheet is checked. Absolute adherence to
the technical specifications is essential for achieving these technical data during operation.

6.2. CE Mark
All measuring systems of the HIT 1000 and HIT 1500 series have been developed and ma-
nufactured in accordance with the EU standards (see
Appendix 1: Declaration of confor-
mity ).
