The symbol indicates important information or features and application
suggestions for the product used.
The symbol means that appropriate ESD-protective measures must be
observed according to DIN EN 100 015-1.
(Establish equipotential bonding between body and device-mass as well as the housing-
mass via a high-impedance resistor (approx. 1 MOhm) e.g. with a commercial ESD wrist
strap.)

Proper use
The measuring system is used for the measurement of the inclination with respect to the
horizontal plane and to condition the measured data for the subsequent control of mobile
process and control procedures.
For intended use with increased requirements on functional safety, it must be ensured that
the measuring system is in "idle state" during the determination of the inclination. The "idle
state" is signalised by checking the corresponding safety status signal and should be eva-
luated by the operator. Detailed information on this can be found in the safety manual as
well as in the related protocol description.
The development of this measuring system is based on and meets the requirements of the
machinery guidelines DIN EN ISO 13849-1:2015 to PL d as well as the DIN EN 61508:2010
to SIL 2.
For the intended use, the operator has to ensure that all status informa-
tion of the delivered measuring system will be read out by a superordinate
control system.
The status information are described in detail in the measuring system's
protocol description.
Examples for typical fields of use in mobile applications:
Conveying technology: i.e. cranes of any type, lift platforms, scissor-lift platforms, tele
handlers, industrial trucks, fork lifts
Construction machinery: i.e. bulldozers, concrete pumps, road construction machines
Agricultural and forestry machinery: e.g. tractors, harvesters, timber harvesters
Municipal vehicles, i.e.: refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers
Mining machines, drilling machines
Special vehicles
towed machinery, trailers
Utility vehicles: i.e. trucks or buses
