First insert the arbor into the spindle. Adjust the table height to about 
25 mm from the arbor. Turn the feed handles to push the arbor in.

• 

Insert the drill head into the arbor. Place a piece of wood on the table 
to protect the drill head.

• 

Turn the feed handles down to insert the drill head firmly into the 
arbor.

Insert the drill approx. 25 mm into the drill head.  When using a small drill you 
should make sure that the chucks are clear of the cutting area. Hold the drill 
in the center of the drill head and tighten the drill head with the drill key.

Turn the head so that both openings are aligned.

Push the tool ejector in the opening and lightly tap it with a hamer to eject 

the tool.

Always put a piece of wood (or pliewood) on the table. This prevents splintering or burring at the bottom-side of 
the work piece when the drill goes through it. Place the piece of wood on the left-hand side of the column.

Vise

Small work pices that cannot be clamped onto the table, should be clamped using a machine vise (not included). 
The vise must be screwed or clamped onto the table.

The safety switch cuts the power when the v-belt cover is opened. A metal bracket inside the cover ensures that 
the switch remains activated as long as the cover remains open.

Warning! 

As a result of shaking and shocking during transport it is possible that the bracket no longer functions 
correctly. When this is the case you should turn the switch or adjust the position of the bracket. Unplug 
the machine from the power supply before you do so. Then open the cover and check the correct 
working of the safety switch.
