Connecting rod

Due to the stresses the connecting rod is subject to, its original dimensions

change in a more or less noticeable way. The connecting rod tests are meant

to check its wholeness.

Should readings not comply with the max. allowed wear limits, it will be neces

sary to replace it.

These tests can be carried out even with connecting rod assembled to crank

shaft.
