9 RIDING INSTRUCTIONS

–

If the engine stalls (e.g. at an intersection), just pull the clutch

lever and press the start button. The transmission must not

be shifted into neutral.

–

If the malfunction indicator lamp

lights up during a trip,

stop immediately (taking care not to endanger yourself or

other road users in the process), switch off the engine, and

contact an authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles workshop.

–

If the general warning symbol begins to flash in the display

during the trip, several warnings have been detected.

Applying the brakes

Moisture and dirt impair the brake system.

Brake carefully several times to dry out and remove dirt from the brake linings and the brake discs.

A spongy pressure point on the front or rear brake reduces braking efficiency.

If the foot brake lever is not released, the brake linings drag continuously.

Take your foot off the foot brake lever if you do not want to brake.

Higher total weight increases the stopping distance.

Take the longer stopping distance into account when carrying a passenger or luggage with you.

Salt on the roads impairs the brake system.
