4.3.5 Logbook
Logbook is used to simply save information about
a large number of mowers in a database. The
information can then be searched and used even
when the mowers are not connected to Autocheck.
It is recommended to use the logbook throughout the
robotic lawnmower’s lifecycle (at the time of the sale,
winter service, repairs) to obtain a good overview of
the mowers that have been sold or serviced. It is then
easy to see how far a mower has travelled since the
last service, how well it has been working, what parts
have been replaced at each service, if the customer
has altered settings and much more.
When installing a robotic lawnmower it is both simple
and suitable to store all settings in the logbook on site
in the garden for future reference in connection with
any alterations or problems.
Note! Autocheck EXP saves the mower automatically
to the logbook as soon as the mower is connected
to the program. No manual saving is needed and is
consequently never carried out.
In those cases where something is altered while the
mower is connected to Autocheck EXP, an additional
save to the logbook is carried out when the mower is
disconnected or when Autocheck EXP is turned off.
A maximum of two automatic saves are implemented
per date on an individual mower.
4.3.6 Tools
Under the Tools section you will find a number
of important special settings. Actions that can be
undertaken from this menu include:
• Clear the mower’s list of error messages
• Restore the mower to factory settings
• Clear the battery’s charging cycle counter
(recommended when replacing the mower’s
battery)
• Transfer user settings from logbook to new
main circuit board
• Reading the lawnmower’s encrypted PIN
code, the co-called the security code
• Transfer PC time to the mower
• Test the battery’s capacity
4.3.7 The Assistant
The Assistant is found in the program’s bottom
corner. It provides information about the status of
both Autocheck EXP and the mower connected. The
Assistant can also propose actions.
Tip! Always follow the recommendations from
the
Assistant . If the Assistant detects a problem it
frequently also has one or several suggested actions.
